THANKS FOR A GREAT SEASON!

The Voting for new offices will be online as soon as all parents on the ticket have confirmed they WANT to be committed to the job they expressed interest in. We will email all parents when the voting opens (by July 4th?). In the meantime, a PDF of all the notes and information discussed at the parents' meeting is being created and will be online ASAP.

We have received so many terrific ideas to help our team get to the next level of swimmer development, and FUN!

Interested in Being on the 2009 Swim Team Committee??

The Swim Team Committee has several openings for board members for the upcoming swim season.

You may want to consider joining the board if....

You have ideas and input that have been expressed to persons outside the committee (i.e. Houndslake Club staff, the team photographer, lifeguards). Being on the board ensures you that the proper people hear your input!
You have improved a job or task on your own (i.e. been a great shepherd, terrific timer, or mentored a new parent). Every job gets only better with parents like you!
You get bored just sitting around at meets and want to get to know more parents on the team and more of the swimmers!
You have an interest in seeing our team excel in sports, sportsmanship, and camaraderie!
You are at the pool all day every day for multiple practice times anyway. It's more fun to join the committee and spend the time working for the team!

Basically, the pay is lousy (aka volunteer), the hours are long (but only for a month), the laughs are side-splitting and the fun goes far beyond the swim season...

You really do not want to miss all the fun!
